Most of Malaysian bloggers out there put Nuffnang ads in their blogs because they want to earn side income while they blogging. Earning at least few hundred from Nuffnang is very important especially those who have their own domain name and webhosting. It is to make sure the blog stay online. For my case, I need at least RM455 yearly to breakeven. In business world, if the income is below than the cost, we call it as making loss. No one wants to make loss. Every bloggers want to make profits from their blogs. Setting a goal is very important to give motivation. We will work extra hard when we have motivation. It is okay if you having a big dream as your goal even though it hard to reach. Anything is possible if you believe it.

Ever since the travel blog was born on November 24, 2007, it is already attract a lot of visitors from different countries. Mostly are from Malaysia, Singapore, United States, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Philippines. First of all, Advertlets Sdn Bhd (774851-T) is a Malaysian small private limited company specializing in blog advertising network. They are focusing in Malaysia and Singapore. This company was founded by J L. Their office located at ….? Aha, do you know the address? Where to find the address? Anyone know? Can you find it? Of course you can’t. You cannot find the office address in their official website and even at the brochures for the advertisers. This is clearly stated how unreliable this company is. Why you are so scared to put the office address if you are honest in doing the business? For those who still cannot find their office, I will give you a clue. Their office is located somewhere in Plaza Damas.

What is Advertlets?
Advertlets is a platform for bloggers to earn money from their blogs. Advertlets act as a middleman between bloggers and advertisers. They will pay bloggers based on impressions (CPM). They charge about RM15 / 1000 impressions for image banner ads (CPM) to the advertisers.

What is their history?
On early 2008, this IT-related company created panic among bloggers because Mr. J forgot to renew the domain name. Many of bloggers including me have removed the ads since then. They also failed to make the bloggers HAPPY because the support team was extremely poor. Most of the bloggers until now still haven’t received the payments. Don’t forget bloggers are clients too. Our earning power is still low due to we just started put the ads about one and half months ago. The total up is about RM97.19 (US$27.77). Most of the revenue we earn came from Nufflets. Our earning power is still low due to we just started put the ads about one and half months ago. The total up is about RM97.19 (US$27.77). Most of the revenue we earn came from Nufflets. Not much compared to WidgetBucks. Our WidgetBucks already earned about RM121.45 (US$34.70) in a month. That’s quite a lot, but we decided to remove it due to their advertisers no longer interested in Asian CPM.

Our websites also got several downtimes due to CPU resources overloaded. It really gave a bad effect to the traffics. Automatically the Alexa Rank also affected. Don’t forget about the revenue too. Ok, here’s the breakdown.

Nufflets RM52.57 (US$15.02)
Advertlets RM18.70 (US$5.34)
Nuffnang RM18.22 (US$5.20)
AdBrite RM7.70 (US$2.20)

Total: RM97.19 (US$27.77)

We wish we can boost up the traffics, so that we can use this money to pay for web-hosting rental. Some more, we are planning to move to dedicated server due to our XHYDRO is getting grower and we need a better hosting.

It is a huge improvement after I opened a few MySQL slots for my friends to open up their blogs under my domain. My forum visitors decreased this month, due to lack of event.

I would like to announce, advertisers no longer interested to buy the ads traffic from Malaysia. It is because of their targeted users are only for US/Canada. This is cause you no longer can earn the revenue by putting this ads at your blog. Except, most of your users are from Canada and US. If, majority of your users are from Malaysia, you better remove it. It will waste your webspace and slower the page loading.

Why is the new CPM tab in MyWidgets not showing any earnings, just impressions or all zeros?
If you see impression data but zero revenue, it means that the international traffic you are receiving for the widgets is coming from regions where advertisers aren’t willing to pay. If you see no impressions data, then no international impressions are being received.

What are the non-paying countries or regions?
We are finding that advertisers are not willing to buy traffic from Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Egypt, and Romania. Rates for other countries, such as Taiwan, parts of the Middle East, parts of S. America, and other regions earn under $0.10 CPM. It’s really important to mention this is an advertiser decision regarding the value of that traffic, NOT WidgetBucks’ decision.
